Torta de Fuego
$17.99Chorizo, grilled steak, ham, pineapple, bacon, bell peppers, Oaxaca cheese and grilled onions. The sandwich we named the place after.
House signatureMexico City recipes, cooked by the family who carried them here. Handmade tortillas, molcajetes still sizzling, and the tortas that gave us our name.
We set foot on American soil in 1990 with the flavors of our homeland and a stubborn desire to serve them honestly.
Everything we cook still starts where we started: the pork carnitas simmered in-house, the mole built from ancho, mulato, pasilla and guajillo, the corn tortillas pressed by hand every morning. Nothing about it is fast, and that is the point.
Three decades later there are three of us along the Verde Valley — West Sedona, the Village of Oak Creek, and Cottonwood. Same family. Same recipes. Same fire.
